Blood in My Urine? You Might Have Hematuria

Some people freak out when they see blood in their urine, and they should. Hematuria, or blood in the urine can be broken into different states.

Hematuria, or blood in the urine:

Microscopic Hematuria is when their is just a bit of blood in the urine and is usually found with a microscope. Not sure how many of you have a microscope around the house.

Gross Hematuria is the obvious state of bloody pee. Gross Hematuria is usually discovered when you go to the bathroom. Bloody urine will be extremely noticable. If you find your unhealthy urine in this state you should start paying attention to your body. The water can be pale pink, or bright red, or even a few spots of blood can be seen.

Ladies! If you catch blood then you know that it can be from your cycle. If it's not your time then maybe you have Gross Hematuria. Fellas! If you notice bloody urine it could also be from bloody ejaculation, if so then you are in for serious problems with your prostate so get your boys checked.

There are certain foods that can make you think you have bloody urine. Beets, drugs, and other foods may fool you, so pay attention to your diet.
