Blood Pressure and Anxiety

High blood pressure is a condition where the pressure of your blood is higher than it should be. The force that the blood exerts on the blood vessels should be kept at certain levels otherwise it can become one dangerous health problem. A typical blood pressure reading should be less than 120/80mmHg. Anything reading above this will create cardiovascular issues such as heart disease and or strokes. Hypertension which is the name for high blood pressure can be divided into two main categories: primary hypertension and secondary hypertension. Secondary hypertension is caused by another health condition like kidney illness.

Primary hypertension which is the most common type of this condition does not have a specific origin. Hypertension is normally a consequence of a living an unhealthy lifestyle. The use of cigarettes, alcohol and many drugs are part of the bad habits that many people have which cause them a huge number of diseases. Emphysema, liver diseases, many other conditions can come from the use of these substances. Hypertension is no exception to this; the prolonged use of the cigarette will narrow the blood vessels which causes the blood pressure to rise.

Other aspects of living an unhealthy lifestyle are the food that we eat and how much exercise we do. The food with a high percent of saturated is the worst enemy for our blood. The high fat content will cause our blood to thicken and the heart to work harder to pump blood. Also if we do not exercise our heart cannot become stronger to use less effort in pumping our blood. There is another aspect to the blood pressure that is not the physical one. Our emotions also play a role in how our body reacts. Happiness, anger, sadness can affect your blood pressure without you being aware of it.

When you are stressed and anxious you pressure will experience a sudden increase that can be harmful to you. Fortunately the effect of blood pressure and anxiety is just temporary. However, if the physical state is not in the best moment the sudden rise of the pressure produced by anxiety can be really dangerous and can even cause death. Keeping yourself calm and relaxed at all moments will really help in avoiding dangerous situations.

One thing that can be done to decrease the anxiety that can be created is to focus in only one task at the same time. When you think only about one thing to do you will not feel overwhelmed and the anxiety will be only be minor. Breathing deeply and slowly will help to keep your cool and you will be able to be in control of your emotions more often.

Blood Pressure Charts

High blood pressure is a medical condition that needs constant monitoring; it is crucial to always keep tabs of your blood pressure since its many complications can lead to fatal conditions such as stroke and heart attack. And in keeping your blood pressure readings for proper monitoring, blood pressure charts are very helpful.

Blood pressure charts are great tools in monitoring your blood pressure. These charts contain information that is vital to your blood pressure; such includes your age, pulse pressure, systolic pressure readings and diastolic pressure readings. The last two can be recorded in terms of the minimum, average and maximum ranges.

Some blood pressure charts may even include legends and interpretations that are crucial in your day-to-day monitoring. Safe and unsafe blood pressure levels are also mostly included to tell you when you're in need of medical attention. Depending on who created the chart and who are in need of the charts as well as what the general conditions of the patient using these charts are, blood pressure charts may have different entries and categories.

When you've got everything recorded, it's easy to track your day-to-day blood pressure. Thus, you can easily control possible effects of hypertension such as stroke and so you'll know when to take medications and when to pay a visit to your doctor.

There are a number of software packages available on the Internet that you can use to help track your blood pressure daily. Advices and tips for proper noting and charting of blood pressure readings are also available along with these chart software. You can either download a free version of these software o order the full versions directly from the software manufacturer. Best thing, though, is to inquire first about these charts before getting them so to make sure they suit your needs.

Using Cinnamon Aids High Blood Pressure Problems

It's known that spices are natural remedies, cinnamon is one that helps with high blood pressure issues. Of course there are others, but will focus on cinnamon because it's easy to find. Lets take a closer look at how we can add this to our diets.

There are two types of cinnamon, whole and extract. Both are proven to have a positive affect on high blood pressure. Since high blood pressure and diabetes are a kin to one another, you can look into using cinnamon for both.

So the common question asked is why? There are properties within cinnamon that helps use the hormone insulin in the body. In effect, it lowers levels of glucose and triglycerides (fat in blood) which benefits people with high blood pressure. Anytime you can reduce the accumulation of bad fats inside your arterial walls you step closer to controlling your situation.

Dosage of Cinnamon for High Blood Pressure Problems

There are several ways to use cinnamon, for it to be effective you have to include it in your daily routine. Try this as a recommended dosage.

First, add 1/2 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon daily on cereal or toast or mix into yogurt. Then you can either take one capsule twice a day or you might try buying a tincture and add 30 drops to one ounce of distilled water 3 times a day.

Lets add one more alternative if you don't want to take the tincture. Use 1/2 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon with eight ounces of boiling water. Let sit for 15 minutes, makes two cups of 4 ounces each. Drink twice a day.

The main thing is to get enough cinnamon in your system so your body can start to reverse some of the damage already done.

There are a few other common spices you can add to your diet, and there are some less common herbs. Start with the common more neutral items, like cinnamon, if your blood pressure issue is more severe you might have to look into a stronger herb.

Keep you doctor in the loop, most spices will not confict with medications, but it's safer to inform your physician about any changes you make.

There are many other things you can do for your high blood pressure issues.

Lower Your High Blood Pressure Naturally

Lower your blood pressure naturally by changing a few things in your diet that can actually make a huge difference in your BP levels. Many people suffer from high blood pressure and after diagnosis of hypertension, generally succumb to prescription medication to control it. While prescription medication is important in controlling this disease for many people, it's not always necessary to use prescription drugs. You can lower your blood pressure naturally by using a little discipline and swapping out certain foods in your regular diet to more healthy foods that can affect your BP for the better.

Drop the Soft Drinks

You can exchange your typical soft drink choice for seltzer water and cold lemon slices. Soft drinks tend to contain fructose a corn based sweetening product which lessens the normal production of nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a gas that causes the blood vessels to dilate and researchers think that fructose reduces the production of this element. Replace soft drinks with a non-fructose drink and you will do your vessels a favor.

Leave off the Oatmeal Cookies

While it's true that there is good dietary value to oatmeal itself, some oatmeal cookies are made with fructose. Try baking homemade cookies with fruit sweetener instead. Or just eat oatmeal topped with raisins and cinnamon.

How about that Banana Nut Bread?

Again, this favorite treat is often loaded with a fructose sweetener, especially if purchased at a bakery or other place where it is ready made. Bake your own without fructose or replace it with a wheat muffin loaded with natural peanut butter and sliced banana pieces.

These simple food trade-offs may seem almost too easy to help lower blood pressure, but the key is to leave off the fructose. If you want to help prevent hypertension for better future health or if you want to help lower your high blood pressure the natural way now, then changing your diet is the best place to start.

Blood Sugar Chart

Living with diabetes is not impossible, but it does require adherence to diet and exercise especially, as well as recording one's blood sugar level regularly with the aid of a diabetes blood sugar chart. The body uses glucose as its main form of fuel to produce energy. We get glucose from the foods we eat, but mainly from sugars and carbohydrates. Without sufficient intake of glucose, the body will not be able to function properly. Those suffering with diabetes and indeed hypoglycemia need to prepare a blood sugar chart on a weekly basis, as a means of controlling the sugar level intake as well as enabling you to identify the reasons why there is an increase or decrease of blood glucose level in the body. The chart can also help you to reduce the risk of having any complications as a result of diabetes.

The blood sugar chart is used to keep a record of the food you ate, insulin taken, activities, medication, emotions or stress and the amounts of carbohydrates and blood glucose taken in any one day. It acts as an at-a-glance guide to help you identify which time of the day (if any) problems occur. The more information or comments you can record on your chart relating to the above factors the better, as it helps to pinpoint issues to avoid so that you can reduce the risk greatly of having any associated problems with diabetes. One such chart is easily attainable from your health care provider or there are many websites where you can download one, free of charge.

It is absolutely imperative to maintain your blood sugar level if you are a sufferer of diabetes or hypoglycemia, and there is no easier way than keeping a regular daily chart of your progress. This record will need to be shared with your health care practitioner and is an essential tool in ascertaining whether any changes to diet or exercise should be made in order to control the diabetes. People who are showing any signs and symptoms of this blood sugar or the ones already having a history of high sugar level in some of their predecessors needs to be alarmed, and must keep things in check even if they are not told to do so by their doctor. And that keeping in control involves doing regular workouts, going out to the gymnasium, regular walks, eating healthy and balanced diet and of course not eating food rich in starch and glucose.

High Blood Pressure vs. Low Blood Pressure - The Cause and Cure!

Do you have high blood pressure? Do you have low blood pressure? This is an important question for your health and your life. Why? And only about 63 percent of those with high blood pressure are even aware that they have it. Causing, a heart wrenching of almost 60,000 Americans dying each year of complications related to high blood pressure. So what are the symptoms of high blood pressure?

Symptoms of High Blood Pressure

Unfortunately, the reason so many people don't know they have high blood pressure, also known as hypertension, is that there aren't really any clear symptoms of hypertension. What is blood pressure? Blood pressure is basically the force pushing on the arteries by your blood as it passes through them. Someone with high blood pressure has blood that is putting higher than normal pressure on the arteries. This puts more stress on the body. Hence, the heart has to work so hard to get the blood pumped through those arteries that it can actually enlarge and damage the heart, eventually causing a heart attack, stroke, aneurysm and other heart problems if left untreated. High blood pressure is not something to mess around with!

Causes for High Blood Pressure

What could put you at risk for high blood pressure? There are numerous causes but here is a list of the major ones:

Gender: Men are more likely than women to have high blood pressure.
Age: As you age, your risk of high blood pressure increases.

Obesity: Being overweight is a huge risk factor for high blood pressure.
Smoking: Smokers will often times be more at risk for hypertension.
A Sedentary Lifestyle: If you are required to sit a lot at your profession... your risk rises.

A Natural Cure for High Blood Pressure

Due to the seriousness of hypertension, doctors do have medications for sufferers. Including: Diuretics, Beta Blockers, ACE Inhibitors, Alpha Blockers and Vasodilators. However, here is the shocking part, as well as costing hundreds to thousands, many of these medications could have the following side-effects: kill nutrients in body, risk of asthma symptoms, speed heart rate, depletion of taste, rashes, cold symptoms, kidney problems, headaches, nausea, weight gain, and growth of hair. Not pleasant! Besides, I thought they were suppose to help hypertension sufferers?

Now the good news! There is an all-natural treatment for high blood pressure. Yes, you can drop points off your blood pressure reading in days! Doctors would agree there are numerous non-pharmaceutical things you can do lower your blood pressure. Start with these...

Cut from the live album. A song about an epic World War I Battle in Belgium. Lyrics: In a foreign field he lay Lonely soldier, unknown grave On his dying words he prays Tell the world of Paschendale Relive all that he's been through Last communion of his soul Rust your bullets with his tears Let me tell you 'bout his years Laying low in a blood filled trench Kill tim 'til my very own death On my face I can feel the falling rain Never see my friends again In the smoke, in the mud and lead Smell the fear and the feeling of dread Soon be time to go over the wall Rapid fire and the end of us all Whistles, shouts and more gun fire Lifeless bodies hang on barbed wire Battlefield nothing but a bloody tomb Be reunited with my dead friends soon Many soldiers eighteen years Drown in mud, no more tears Surely a war no-one can win Killing time about to begin Home, far away From the war, a chance to live again Home, far away But the war, no chance to live again The bodies of ours and our foes The sea of death it overflows In no man's land, God only knows Into jaws of death we go Crucified as if on a cross Allied troops they mourn their loss German war propaganda machine Such before has never been seen Swear I heard the angels cry Pray to god no more may die So that people know the truth Tell the tale of Paschendale Cruelty has a human heart Every man does play his part Terror of the men we kill The human heart is hungry still I stand my ground for the very last time Gun is ready as I ...

Abortion - Is There Blood on Your Hands

PRELUDE

If you have had an abortion, you need to seek forgiveness. God is more than willing to forgive.

Forgiveness, however, generally requires some degree of repentance.

And repentance requires knowledge that a particular action is something that requires repentance.

The point of this document is not to attack the individual who may yet get an abortion nor to condemn one who has had an abortion.

The purpose is to show that Abortion is evil and who is responsible for that evil.

BLOOD

In some parts of the world, the term "bloody" is a horrible profanity. I apologize for any in or from those cultures who may be offended with the word "blood".

In the USA we have "blood drives" for people to donate blood for humans who need blood transfusions. My wife is a nurse and regularly uses the phrase, "hanging blood".

If there is an accident on the highway, we keep children from seeing the blood.

But I will not yield in the use of the word "blood". I do not use the word as a profanity nor in the medical sense. I use the word in a religious sense.

JUDEO CHRISTIAN USE OF WORD 'BLOOD'"

Blood is the center of Biblical Judeo Christian theology. When the quotations are from the Old Testament, it refers to both the Biblical Jewish religion and the Christian Religion. When the quotation is from the New Testament, it refers to the Christian Religion.

Very young children, in Sunday School, learn about David and Goliath. David brings down the giant with a slingshot and proceeds to cut off his head. Very adult content but acceptable for children in a religious context.

39 And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.

40 And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.

(Verses 41-47 deleted for sake of brevity.)

48 And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came, and drew nigh to meet David, that David hastened, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.

49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.

50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.

51 Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled. [1 Samuel 17:37-51]

In the early years of the Christianity, Pagan critics called Christianity a "bloody" religion. This was not the profanity use of the word. It described the Christian worship service where holy communion was celebrated.

In communion, the Christian eats the body of Jesus and drinks his blood. This refers back to the precious blood of Jesus which was shed on the cross. Of course we use bread and wine and not flesh of a human nor human blood. Christian children first take communion shortly after reaching an age of responsibility, about 8 years old.

53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. [John 6:53-56]

When I was a child before I learned how to read, my mother read the Bible to me including those passages which refer to "blood" and death.

Certainly the use of the word "blood" in the religious context is not "adult material".

BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS

Take a look at your hands. Do you see blood? Is that what we
mean, actual blood? One who kills another gets blood on his
or her hands whether the actual blood touches the hand or not.
In a spiritual sense, this is not just a figure of speech. There is much more to it than that.

Human blood is spilled when a person is killed whether the
blood actually leaves the body or not. This is a spiritual thing. It is something not seen but very very real. Murder is the willful taking of innocent human life. The Scripture clearly makes a distinction of purposefully killing and non-premeditated
manslaughter.

Murder is an offense which will cost a person his eternal soul
independent of what he believes. The Apostle Paul was a party
to the murder of the martyr Stephen by consenting to his
death. Paul was forgiven of this offense as it was before his
conversion.

1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. [Acts 8:1-3] (Saul here is the Apostle Paul.)

If one sins willfully after conversion he puts again to death
our Lord Jesus Christ. Hebrews 6:6 makes the case against the
quick "I'm sorry". This is of course different from I John
1:9 where it says "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness."

Abortion is the taking of human life while still in the mother's womb. This is murder, according to at least some definitions. This may be punishable by the eternal loss of one's soul. Books have been written to prove that life begins at conception not when the U. S. Supreme Court says it does.

18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand." [Ezekiel 3:18]

"If you fail to warn of the sin, the blood is on your hands"
is a paraphrase of Ezekiel 3:18. This is the serious responsibility put on the Christian communities and
especially the Christian leaders.

Silence means the consenting to the death. Failure to warn
also passes the guilt. The punishment is not a slap on the
wrist but the full weight of eternal laws which have the final
result as shown in Revelation 21:8 where it states that
"...murders...will have their part in the lake which burns
with fire and brimstone...the second death."

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. [Revelation 21:8]

Look at your hands. Look at the Word. Do you have blood on
your hands? There is an abortion murder in this country every
twenty second - every minute of every hour of every day. You
have allowed this to happen so far, perhaps out of ignorance.

You did not have an abortion nor did you perform an abortion
but YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE. You consented to each and every death
because of your silence.

Menopause Blood Test - How A Blood Test For Menopause Can Help You

If you are suffering from some of the symptoms associated with menopause such as mood swings, fatigue, loss of hair, night sweats and hot flashes you may want to find out whether you have started menopause for sure, one way of doing this is by have a menopause blood test. In this article we will talk about the blood test in a bit more detail.

If you are suffering from any of the symptoms above and you are over the age of 40 it is likely that you have started menopause. These symptoms are commonly seen in menopausal women. However there are sometimes other reasons why some of these symptoms are occurring and that why it is important to have a blood test. This will confirm whether you are going through menopause or whether you have other conditions, such as iron deficiency that leads to fatigue.

If you think you are suffering from menopause you don't necessarily have to have a blood test, you can simply pick up a menopause test kit, and test your urine in the privacy of your own home. Although this is practical a blood test is better in some cases. For example if the results of the menopause test kit states that you are not going through menopause, you still will not know what is causing your symptoms, but with a blood test you can properly diagnose the condition responsible for the symptoms you are experiencing.

A blood test to diagnose whether an individual is suffering from menopause or not is a simple non-invasive procedure.

During a menopause blood test the levels of estrogen, progesterone and follicle stimulating hormone within the blood are measured. If the test results show that there is a decline in estrogen or progesterone it means the menopause process has begun. It is very likely that the doctor will recommend hormone replacement therapy to balance out the deficiency in hormones. This will help to relieve the symptoms of menopause since they occur as a result of the hormones becoming unstable.

Hormone replacement is a very effective and common form of treatment, although in recent times there have been stories in the media about how it may increase the risk of a woman developing breast cancer. This increase in risk is apparently small, but it is still enough to put many women off using this form of treatment.

As you can see a blood test is an excellent tool for finding out whether someone is undergoing menopause or whether they are suffering from another condition that causes similar symptoms. It is a safe test and once it is carried out, your doctor is in a better position to advise you on the best way to deal with your symptoms. To summarize, not everyone has to undergo a blood test to diagnose menopause because you can simply purchase a home test kit, but if you are worried that your symptoms may be occurring because of something else other than menopause, a blood test may be your best option.
